He has been a leadership coach to CEOs and organisations, for over 20 years. Prior to that, he spent close to 25 years in Branding/ Communications with Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, based in India, Singapore, London and Hong Kong.

Vijay is a sought-after keynote speaker on the subjects of Cancer, Stress-Wellbeing and Leadership.

Synopsis

Many people who have been directly or indirectly touched by cancer, feel strongly called to give back and minimise the suffering of others facing similar challenges. But they don’t know how to find the right balance between empathy and guidance, especially since the person suffering is at his/ her most vulnerable. Plus, there are so many myths, taboos and misconceptions around cancer that can come in the way.

Based on the mantra ‘Let Cancer Heal You’ this 2-day workshop has been carefully designed to help you make a start in this direction. The session consists of 2 interwoven strands:

–    Day 1: Learn & practice 3 core Coaching skills – Supportive Listening, Powerful Questioning & Ethical Influencing

–    Day 2: Learn & apply the key principles of a Holistic & Integrated approach to cancer – which can work hand-in-hand with conventional medical treatments

Effective wellness coaching aims to enable and empower, rather than to prescribe or impose. This Interactive and experiential workshop will take a similar approach. Helping others walk the transformational path from ‘victim’ to ‘survivor’ to ‘thriver’ makes a huge difference and can be extremely fulfilling.
